Introduction
Just over 2 years ago Pill Easton-in-Gordano, Portbury Churches Together (PEPCT) came into existence from PEPCOC. (Pill Easton-in-Gordano, Portbury Churches Together Council of Churches). Rob Dixon, who was the County Ecumenical Officer for Somerset Churches Together, met with the Ministers and Church Leaders of the 3 Anglican Churches, The Methodist Church, The Salvation Army, The Baptist Church and the Roman Catholic Church in the area and drew up a draft Constitution for a Churches Together. Then on the 16th September 2009 at Christ Church, Pill, all the churches gathered for a Service of Celebration to mark the inauguration of Pill Easton-in-Gordano, Portbury Churches Together. The service involved all the ordained Church Leaders and Robin Dixon culminating in the Proclamation and signing of the Constitution.
